In the 2025–2026 Spring Semester, the CRP406 Public Space Theory and Design course centers on the project titled "Look at/after Ankara's Water"—saluting Ruhi Su's türkü "Ankara'nın Taşına Bak". Through theoretical discussions and hands-on practice, the course focuses on Ankara's covered streams as a lens to rethink public space and ecological memory in central Ankara. Bringing together theory, art-based research, and speculative design, the project encourages students to critically explore how hidden waterways of Ankara can inform future-oriented approaches to public space while restoring the cultural memory of the city.

The project will culminate in a public exhibition at Goethe-Institut Ankara, in collaboration with its program "Water - Life and Responsibility".

Students are expected to attend the first meeting. The attendance to the first meeting on 18.02.2026 is a must and a requirement to determine the capacity of the course.
