Çağatay KESKİNOK, Prof. Dr. (retired in April 2021)
Keskinok graduated from the Department of City and Regional Planning at METU. He received his Master’s degree from the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and Public Administration at METU. After his Master’s degree, he completed his PhD. at the same faculty and department. He was a research assistant between 1984-1988.
He received his Professor title in 2014. He served as the Head of City and Regional Planning Department between 2015-2020.
During his academic life, he taught all of the Planning Studios (CRP101-102-201-202-301-302-401-402). In addition, he taught courses such as CRP495 Urban Political Analysis, CRP499 Seminar in Selected Urban Political Issues, CRP382 Legal and Administrative Aspects of Planning, UPL507 Politics of Space, UPL601 Urban Space and Politics. His research focuses were urban politics, urbanization and spatial organization, physical planning, design policies.
