As part of METU Urban Design Studio II (Spring 2025–2026), the studio conducted a field visit with the students to explore sustainable and resilient housing areas and public spaces in Zonguldak and Çaycuma. The visit provided an invaluable opportunity to observe the region's landscapes, settlement patterns and development dynamics on site. We sincerely thank all local institutions and colleagues who generously hosted METU MUD and shared their knowledge with our students.
