As part of the METU 70th Anniversary events, the opening of the exhibition “Ankara'nın Suyuna Arşivden Bak [From the Archive: Look at Ankara’s Water]”, prepared within the framework of the “Digital Transformation Open Access Project for the Map and Plan Documentation Unit” (Departmental BAP Project No. 11782), was held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at our Faculty’s exhibition hall.

The exhibition features visual materials and documents selected from the archive of our department’s Map and Plan Documentation Unit, relating to planning studies on Lakes Eymir and Mogan conducted by our Faculty in the 1980s. The exhibition is further enriched by a selection of student projects produced through archival research as part of the event of the same title, held in June–July 2026 in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Ankara and within the scope of the CRP406 Public Space Theory and Design course.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until October 22, 2026.
