We are pleased to welcome Assist. Prof. Dr. Onur Alişan to the Department of City and Regional Planning at METU. A graduate of METU in both Business Administration (2004) and City and Regional Planning (2014), Dr. Alişan holds a MSc in the Department of Industrial Engineering (2008) and a PhD in City and Regional Planning (2021). Before joining our department at METU, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Florida State University, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research focuses on urban transportation, with particular interests in accessibility to services, traffic safety, spatial optimization, and disaster preparedness and sheltering.
