Topic: Shaping the Implementation: Results-Oriented Monitoring-Evaluation and Policy Design
Gökhan Yalçın, who has worked in the field of regional planning and programming at Development Agencies and currently continues his work at the UN International Labor Organization, examined the relationship between policy design and implementation processes in the context of development projects with an online presentation in our department. In this context, it is aimed to clarify the monitoring and evaluation tools and concepts.

Gökhan Yalçın, received his Ph.D. from METU City and Regional Planning Department in 2016, continued his work in the field of regional planning and programming at Development Agencies for nine years. Since 2018, he has been working in different positions within the United Nations Turkey System and working as a monitoring and evaluation expert at the International Labor Organization. His main areas of interest include policy and program design, development assistance and monitoring and evaluation systems.
