Eymir Symposium is held on 15-16 December 2016 at METU Culture and Congress Center.

The aim of the symposium was to present the history of METU on Lake Eymir by bringing together its afforestation practices, academic and scientific study and research experience to the public. The purpose is to convey the value of Eymir Lake and its Basin to the public by informing it about its past and future, to inform the society about scientific knowledge production and environmental management, and to bring together experts from different fields to create a focus on the subject and a future-oriented program.
