EXPLORATIONS | ATTEMPTS aims to make visible typological practices that took mass housing as a design theme and have become mainstream in different periods within the last hundred years of Turkey's modern urbanization. Within the scope of the exhibition, the outputs of the elective course 'Collective Housing Planning and Design,' will be presented. This course is conducted by Prof. Dr. Aydan Balamir, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Olgu Çalışkan, and Res. Asst. H. Eren Efeoğlu in Department of City and Regional Planning at METU Faculty of Architecture during the Fall Semester of 2023-24 Academic Year. In the exhibition, the typological differences and unique spatial qualities of 13 housing projects are brought together comparatively through panel posters and solid models.
