İlhan Tekeli

İlhan Tekeli is graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University in 1960. He completed his master's degree in City and Regional Planning at Middle East Technical University in 1964 and at the University of Pennsylvania in 1966. In 1968, he completed his Ph.D. in the Department of City and Regional Planning at Istanbul Technical University. Until his retirement in 1970, he was a faculty member of Middle East Technical University. He has several studies on urban planning, regional planning, social systems, macro-geography, local governments, economic policies, economic history, urban history, municipal history, education planning, philosophy of science, and historiography.
