Prof. Dr. Gönül Tankut was commemorated with an exhibition held at the METU Faculty of Architecture Exhibition Hall on 27 April 2015. In the exhibition, Gönül Tankut's various lecture notes, researches, planning studies, and photographs, archived in the City and Regional Planning Department's Map and Plan Documentation Unit, memories about Tankut's education years, academic career, and personal life were presented.
