CRP402 Planning Studio instructors and students participated in the “Kahramanmaraş in Redevelopment" Conference held at the Kahramanmaraş EXPO Kelebek Museum between April 14–16, 2025. Within the scope of the CRP401-402 Planning Studio lectures, projects were presented under the title “Post-Disaster Recovery Planning: The Case of Kahramanmaraş.” These are regional-scale redevelopment strategies in a 1/100.000 scale Environmental Plan including the redevelopment strategies at regional level, and 1/25.000 scale Master Development Plans aiming at guiding the macroform development of the metropolitan area.

The field trip continued with 1/5.000 scale Master Development Plan land use studies, focusing on the metropolitan area including the districts of Dulkadiroğlu and Onikişubat and surrounding rural settlements. The trip addressed various elements such as the city center, sub-centers, post-disaster mass housing areas, western and eastern urban development zones, risky areas, urban transformation neighborhoods, and industrial zones.
